From Louisiana all the way across Pennsylvania to Maryland and Delaware
is where Hurricane Ida is going
Hurricane Ida has charted her path from Louisiana all the way across Pennsylvania to Maryland and Delaware. The journey that Hurricane Ida is on will take her four days to complete. She’ll land in Louisiana on Sunday and leave out through Maryland or Delaware on Thursday as either a tropical storm or a tropical depression.
Mind you now, folks, Ms. Ida isn’t coming to the states as a site seeing visitor. She ain’t stopping by New Orleans just so she can eat crawdads, drink Pina Coladas with the lil’ umbrellas and pine apples in ‘em, and then go all “Girls Gone Wild” on Bourbon Street.
No, Ms. Ida ain’t going to Graceland to see the “throne” that sent Elvis home and then heading up to Gettysburg to visit the ghosts. Ms. Ida ain’t in a good enough mood to do any of that. No sir! Unh-unh!
What Ms. Ida is in is a bad enough mood to tear all of that up!
Today, Ms. Ida will begin her MAH (Mad As Hell) tour as a 4 on a 5 scale in Louisiana where she will be raising the roof with her 10-15 feet storm surges, cleaning the streets with her 2 to 3 feet of rain, and using tornadoes to sweep trees and cars, and houses out of her way.
All of this ruckus MAH Ida will be keeping up will be felt by states like Texas, Georgia, New Jersey, and other states that are near her path.
Sure, the secondary effects will be a lil’ spit here and a lil’ spit there and a puff of wind here and a puff of wind there, but none of the lil’ spits or lil’ puffs undermine the fact that MAH Ida will create a situation for states in and near her path.
And then there’s the problem of folks having to move to other states, like they did with Hurricane Katrina 16 years ago on this August 29th date, due to the fact that their homes are no more.
Heck, there are already folks still dealing with the effects from Tropical Storm Claudette and now they have to deal with MAH Ida which the governor of Louisiana, John Bel Edwards, believes is going to be one of the strongest hurricanes to hit the state with a Thanos like punch.
Yeah, these hurricanes suck! And based upon all of these projections about how much hell MAH Ida will be causing, she’s going to rank in the top 3 for the suckiest of hurricanes!
BREAKING NEWS, I just go word, from CNN, that MAH Ida’s powering her way in with 150mph winds which means she’s only 7mph shy of being a 5.
MAH Ida is the worse!
